The Role
As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are planned, executed, and monitored in compliance with the Company’s Quality Manual, Construction Methodology, and ISO standards. The role plays a key part in maintaining, monitoring, and continually improving AGC’s quality management system, reinforcing the Company’s commitment to quality excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and inspect construction works on site to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications
- Review and verify drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to quality requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks on materials and workmanship
- Identify quality issues and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and quality issue reports.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality-related issues
- Ensure proper recording and filing of all quality control documents
- Participate in site meetings related to quality and progress
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and project quality requirements
Profile and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control on construction sites
- Solid knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and inspection processes
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication, coordination, and reporting abilities
- Ability to work independently and uphold high professional standards
